We have a scent-free policy at the gym. Many people are extremely sensitive to perfumes, colognes and other scented products. For the comfort of all our members, we ask that you refrain from wearing scented products when you come to the gym.
All Clients have access to the Pushpress Members App, SugarWod App and Cordis Community Facebook Group.
All membership types are non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-saleable. No refunds shall be made on services purchased.
In order to attend classes, you must first purchase a membership, class pass or drop-in. To purchase visit www.cordisfitness.com/memberships/
Our Class Passes expire within one year of the purchase date, no exceptions.
Future membership prices are subject to change current with inflation rates, but Cordis Fitness will honour your current membership until it expires in the interim. We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Cash payments may only be made for Drop-Ins and made at the location. You can reserve classes online up to 48 hours in advance.
Your credit card will be charged for your purchase when you buy a membership, passes or drop-ins. Cordis Fitness will not process charges that use an incorrect, expired, or over-the-limit credit card. We will try to contact you if this occurs. If you fail to pay any fees or charges when due, services or privileges may be suspended or terminated. You shall be responsible and liable for any fees and collection costs that Cordis Fitness may incur in its efforts to collect any unpaid balances owed.
MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT SERVICES
The service being requested is for coaching designed to progress the Client toward improved fitness. The agreement is for coaching services over a specific period of time or sessions during which the Client is eligible to partake in any and all activities in accordance with their specific Membership. Cordis Fitness offers the following options: Monthly Auto-Bill, 12 Month Contract (monthly charge) and 10 Class Pass. All Membership types are non-transferable, non-assignable, and non-saleable. Any such attempted transfer, assignment, or sale is void and will not be honoured.
The term of the Agreement shall commence on the date of purchase, (or otherwise selected start date noted within the Membership plan), and shall automatically renew upon the expiration of the plan, unless otherwise cancelled in accordance with the provisions of the Agreement.
No refunds shall be made for services purchased, except as specifically provided in the Agreement.
A 15% discount may be applied to the CrossFit Monthly Membership or All Access 12 Month Agreement Membership rate for Students, Couples and Emergency Services. Couples must purchase the same Membership Plan in order to receive the discounted rate. Discounts will not be applied to FIT Memberships, any 10 Class Passes or Drop-ins. Stacking multiple discounts is not permitted.
ADDITIONAL RIGHTS TO HOLDS/CANCELLATION
Monthly Membership Agreement: The Client may place their Membership on hold one (1) time per calendar year for up to three (3) consecutive months at one time. The hold must be 10 days in duration at minimum. Upon expiration of the term of the hold, the Client's account will automatically become active and payments will resume. Should the Client choose to return prior to the end of their hold period, the hold will be released and payments will resume. Monthly Memberships may be cancelled at any time with seven (7) days advance written (email) notice. If notice is given with less than seven (7) days notice, the Client’s account will be subject to a $25 administrative fee. There are no penalties for cancelling a Monthly Membership service if advanced written notice is given. If a 12 Month Membership Agreement is purchased, cancelling early will result in a $100 cancellation fee, unless the Client is moving out of the city radius.
Sign-up/in before classes using the Pushpress app on your mobile phone or online. Sign-ups are required for attending classes and reserving your spot. If you do not sign-up and the class is at capacity you will NOT be permitted to attend. You will also need to check-in on the Ipad before entering the gym. You will not be permitted to attend class if your Membership is expired or you have completed your passes.
If you are unable to attend a class and you have reserved a spot make sure to cancel your spot. If the class you reserved your spot in is full, and you do not cancel your reservation, your account will be billed $20 as you have taken a spot away from another member.
OAKVILLE LOCATION. Open Gym time is available for Clients whose Membership specifically permits its use in the agreement. Scheduled Open Gym time runs: Monday-Friday 10:30am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-4:30pm and Sundays 10:00am-12:00pm. A Client with a Membership that allows for Open Gym access is permitted to use the gym space during these times without the instruction by a Coach. Clients are NOT permitted to use the gym space for their own programming (not including Cordis programming/training) during class times or outside of Open Gym. Clients may make use of the additional gym space if, and only if, they have/are attending a scheduled class and then wish to complete additional work/Cordis programming afterwards or beforehand.
We're all friends here! This is an inclusive community. If there is a person in the session you have never met, introduce yourself. If there is a new member, make them feel welcome! Show support to your fellow athletes when they are pushing hard to finish their workout. Do not clean up your equipment until everyone is done the workout, unless you have asked a coach beforehand as you have somewhere you need to be. Do not walk right in front of other athletes while they are lifting. It is distracting, dangerous, and disrespectful. If an athlete is going for a heavy lift, give them about 5-10 feet of space directly in front of them for safety reasons.
LISTEN to your coaches! When a coach is explaining the workout and providing tips and instruction please do not talk. When they provide scales and advice on what weights to use, it is in your best interest to listen. Let coaches coach! Do not try and coach other members yourself, if someone asks for your input you are welcome to provide it. Clean up when you are finished training and put all your equipment away. If you bleed, clean it up. If you move something or use it please put it back where it belongs. Do not drop equipment unless it is for a safety reason. Do not drop empty bars, dumbbells, kettlebells, or any other equipment. The only exception to this is bumper plates, they are designed to be dropped. DON'T drop bars with 10lb or 15lb plates on them. Chalk stays IN the bowls provided. "Staff Only" signs mean "Staff Only".The coach who is leading the session is the only one who should touch the music. If you would like something else on, please ask them to change it.
No dogs in the gym space; dogs must be kept tied up in the front lobby. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Always ask the owner if you can approach the dog to pet them and do so at your own risk. Bring your own dog toys to keep them entertained, please do not use our lacrosse balls and mobility tools. If someone in the gym is allergic and you have your dog with you, you will need to leave them in the car (only when it's NOT too warm outside) or take them home. Make sure they have been brushed well and/or have been out for a walk before bringing them in. If your dog causes any damage to furniture, you will be responsible for the cost incurred. If your dog sheds on the gym mats, you will be required to clean it. If you're unsure of the rules or have questions about bringing them in don't hesitate to contact us first to clarify!
All kids are welcome, they must stay in the lobby while classes are going on. If you bring toys, food etc. you are responsible for cleaning up after them.
Oakville: Please do not park along the curb behind the front 8 parking spaces. This makes it almost impossible to get out of the parking spots especially at night. You can park in the front spaces, around the side, or on the street facing the right direction (going with traffic).
Burlington: Parking can be found at the front or side lot of the Activityplex building. Additional parking can be found behind the Activityplex building, message a staff member for details.
